What is your "real" name?
My first or, "real" name like many of my students put it, is Elizabeth. But I also go by Beth, Liz and Mrs. Cadigan. It all depends on when and how we met!

Where were you born? Reno, NV
When did you know you wanted to be a music teacher? I remember first thinking about being a music teacher when I was a freshman in high school. I was having a blast playing in all the different bands when I thought to myself, "why not become a music teacher so you can share this joy with others?" So I did!
Where did you learn to become a music teacher? I earned a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2010, a master's degree in music education from Kent State in 2014 and a National Boards Certificate in Music- Early and Middle Childhood in 2017.

When you are not teaching, what are some of the other things you do with your time? I love working out, playing ukulele, writing songs, and watching shows like "Nailed It!" with my husband, two dogs (Hank and GusGus) and very fluffy cat (Sage).
