Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan
Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan is an online correspondence course where students work their way through color-coded levels as they develop their recorder playing skills by learning to play a variety of songs. Depending on the package selected, students can earn corresponding level belts (worn by the recorder) or 1" mini buttons to show their progress in the course.

How does it work?
Start by selecting which Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan package you would like for your student.
Once a package has been purchased, the student
(or student's family) will be e-mailed instructions on how to access all of the digital materials they will need for the course (students with premium and deluxe packages will also be sent a paper copy of the songbook).
Students work through the levels at their own pace. When a student is ready to pass a level, they can submit a "level test video" to demonstrate their skills. For every video a student submits, they will be sent an individualized feedback video letting them know whether or not they have successfully passed the level.

- Access to the Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan digital library which contains tutorial videos, sheet music and accompaniment tracks for each of the 9 levels of the course. The library also provides resources on how to get started, warmups, troubleshooting and more!
- Welcome letter and Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan introductory 1" mini button (sent directly to the student in the mail!)
- One-on-one live virtual lesson (can be scheduled anytime during the course)

How many levels are included in the course?
Recorders with Mrs. Cadigan is divided into 9 color-coded levels. Each level features a song and specific skill set that students must demonstrate before moving onto the next level. Depending on the package selected, students can earn rewards as they pass each level.

What are the level rewards?
Students with premium packages will be given the choice between earning colored recorder belts or 1" mini buttons as they pass each level.*
Students with deluxe packages will earn BOTH the colored recorder belts and the 1" mini buttons as they pass each level.*
*You can choose to either have the rewards sent all at once (and then distributed by the students' family as they pass the levels) or one by one as the student passes each level. If the individual option is selected, the rewards will be sent with handwritten congratulatory notes for each level (nothing brightens someone's day like receiving recorder rewards and praise in the mail!)
